CMC – School of Maritime Studies (Shipping & Logistics), through the UYIR Club, organized a road safety awareness programme on Youth Empowerment, Road Safety Advocacy, and Community Development , in alignment with the Uyir Project’s mission to promote safer roads and responsible citizenship.
The programme was conducted by Dr. T. Sathishkumar, Ph.D. (Social Work), Uyir Project Coordinator , who delivered an insightful session on safe driving practices, accident prevention, and community responsibility.
The event aimed to create awareness among students about road safety, encourage responsible behaviour, and empower youth to act as road safety ambassadors in their communities. The programme was highly informative and contributed significantly to building a culture of safety, discipline, and social awareness among students.
