I extend my heartfelt wishes for a wonderful and fulfilling life to each of you. At CMC, you can be assured that our students are in the safe and expert hands of our able and noble faculty members who are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of maritime professionals.

Every morning as I enter through the CMC gates, I experience a profound sense of purpose and joy. The visual treat of our uniformed students, their organized drills, and the spirited atmosphere of their parade ground exercises create an environment reminiscent of a disciplined maritime academy where character and professionalism are forged. As I board our training ship "T.S. CLARISSA," beautiful memories of sea life pervade my thoughts, reminding me of the noble calling that drew me to the maritime profession. With these inspiring moments, I reach my office with a deep sense of gratitude, knowing that I have the privilege to serve as an educator—a role that allows me to transfer experience and knowledge to the future marine fraternity.

The nobility of the teaching profession becomes evident when I reflect on Dr. Kalam's profound words: this is not merely a profession, but divine work that helps people discover their true capabilities. As he wisely stated,

"People need coaches to deepen their skills, need teachers to expand their knowledge, need mentors to hone their professional abilities, need gurus to realize their spiritual self."
