Course Overview
The B.Sc Nautical Science program at Coimbatore Marine College is a three-year residential undergraduate degree designed to equip students with core knowledge and practical skills to pursue a successful career as a Deck Officer, eventually rising to the rank of Captain of the Ship. - Island Residents: 5% marks relaxation for Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands ST candidates

Eligible to join as Deck Cadet on Merchant Navy ships. After required sea time and further certifications (2nd Mate, Chief Mate, etc.), graduates can rise to the prestigious position of Captain of the Ship.
