Coimbatore Marine College, School of Maritime Studies, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Smart Ship Logistics Private Limited on 8th June. The MoU was formally signed by Dr. S. B. Senthilkumar, Director, School of Maritime Studies, and Mr. Rajesh Susai Selvam, Chief Operating Officer, Smart Ship Logistics Private Limited. The collaboration aims to strengthen industry–academia relations and create enhanced learning and career opportunities for students. On the occasion of World Ocean Day, students and faculty members also took a pledge to promote ocean conservation and sustainable maritime practices, reflecting their commitment to environmental stewardship.
Through this partnership, both institutions aim to promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and the overall development of students, while contributing to the advancement of the maritime sector. The observance of World Ocean Day further underscored the institution's commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable maritime practices.
