Coimbatore Marine College celebrated Engineers Day on 15th September 2025 with great enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the legendary engineer and statesman.
Dr. P. R. Natarajan, FIE, The Indian institute of Engineers, Coimbatore Local Centre graced the occasion as chief guest. The program began with a formal welcome address, highlighting the significance of Engineers Day and the contributions of engineers to nation-building and technological advancement. Faculty members and students paid tribute to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, reflecting on his remarkable achievements and inspiring vision.
Various events were organized to encourage innovation and creativity among the students. The participants showcased their talents and innovative ideas, which emphasized the importance of engineering solutions in addressing modern challenges.Prizes and certificates were awarded to the winners of the competitions.
The Engineers Day 2025 celebration at Coimbatore Marine College not only paid tribute to one of Indias greatest engineers but also inspired future engineers to uphold the spirit of innovation and service to society.
