EVENT DETAILS

On (28.10.2023), at our CMC Parade Ground, CMC Sports Day 2023  was conducted. Our beloved Chief Guest  Shri.N.P.Anilkumar, Secretary incharge, Coimbatore District Football Association, received a warm welcome . After the High Tea,the event was conducted at our CMC Parade Ground. The event started with Tamilthai Vazhthu. Welcome Address was delivered by Cadet.Riya Sharma.(B.Tech 22)                         After that our beloved Chairman C/E.S.I.Nathan,Coimbatore Group of Institutions delivered a wonderful speech to the gathering.Introduction of Chief Guest was done by our Cadet.Ananya (BSc 23).Then our Chief Guest was felicitated with Shawl and Memento by our beloved  Chairman C/E.S.I.Nathan,Coimbatore Group of Institutions. Then our honourable Chief Guest   Shri.N.P.Anilkumar, Secretary incharge, Coimbatore District Football Association   delivered a wonderful speech to the gathering. The Olympic Torch was lit by our Chief Guest.The Olympic Flag was hoisted by our Chairman.Then our Chief Guest & Chairman received the guard of honour.                       The house incharges hoisted the House Flags.The oath taking ceremony was done by Cadet.Karthik(B.Tech 21). Then our Chief Guest declared the events to open. Then the various events were conducted to the cadets and staff. After that the prize winners of all the events were awarded with Medals, Shields and certificates. Then our beloved Captain.Sasidharan Manikkath, Principal, Coimbatore Marine College & Our beloved  Academic Director C/E.T.Nedumaran expressed their words about the sports day. Our Physical Director, Mr.Arockiya Sebastian was honoured with Shield and Cash award for his enthusiastic hard work in the past few months for the successful Conduction of today's event.                          Vote of thanks was delivered by our Cadet. Gokulnath(BSc 21). Finally the event ended with the National Anthem.
