On account of awareness about Preservation of the Ozone Layer and Conservation of Water, CMC management organised a Cross Country Running among CMC Cadets and Staffs on September 7, 2019.
For that Event, The prizes were distributed to the winners of that Cross Country Running on September 16,2019 - THE WORLD OZONE DAY (The International Day for the Preservation of Ozone Layer) @ CMC Parade Ground.

On 09.09.2019@ CMC Campus, the ONAM was celebrated. Our Beloved Chairman C/E.S.I.NATHAN inaugurated the celebrations with lighting the traditional lamp. The Onam Special Lunch was provided to all the staffs and cadets of CMC.
CMC celebrated the Independence day on 15.08.2019 with Zeal and zest.
At major razor sharp time our respected Chairman C/E. S.I. Nathan sir hoisted the tricolor Indian National Flag followed with National Anthem.
The Cadets gave Guard of Honor to our Chairman in a grand manner.
The crown of the event was Chairman’s speech. He appreciated the Cadets Parade and their turn out which cadets were truly deserving.
He explained how the CMC had made in records in the Learning Digital world. He also explained about the future plans and how CMC will get to next level and will become the leader among marine Colleges. All staff and Cadets appreciated with clapping of hands.

Another highlight of the event was the Independence Day speech given by Cadet Parmarth Gulati It was an adrenal flow moment for the whole members present. The event was well marked by the responsibilities and pride of independence.

On 29.04.2019, The Faculty Appraisal for the Academic year (2018 - 2019) was held at our Coimbatore Marine College. Chairman C/E S.I Nathan , Principal C/E Nedumaran and Dean Dr. Senthil Kumar addressed the gathering. Our Chairman C/E S.I Nathan recognized our Faculties who those are the best in Academic Performance with Cash Awards and Gifts.

On 3rd & 4th May 2019, A technical Interview was conducted at Coimbatore Marine College for 33 ETO cadets, who have been selected in PLI conducted on 23.04.2019. Mr. Arun Mohandas has attended our College on these two days to conduct the interview on the behalf of MAERSK LINE.
"Passing Out Parade" was held for the Cadets of ETO - 18 B Batch on 02.03.2019 @ CMC .The event started with Parade for welcoming our Chief Guest

The Chief Guests were honored with shawl & Memento, then followed by Chief Guests speech. The Chief Guests motivated cadets about their carrier development in shipping industry. We hope it was golden opportunity for our Passing out Cadets to improve their carrier in Marine field. And then its was followed by certificate distribution ceremony. It was a Memorable day for our Passing out Cadets.
On 21/02/2019 , about 10 cadets of our Coimbatore Marine College have taken part in Inter college cultural Fest KARISHMA 2K19 organized by PSGR Krishnammal College For Women. And our Cadets Mr. BALAJI & Mr. JEBISON won the SECOND PRIZE (Rs.2000) in the event Face Painting.
We had conducted a Health Awareness Program @ CMC on 09.02.2019. We welcome our Chief Guest Prof. Periyanarkunan Ramaiya Murugesan MBBS, MS, MCh, DNB, DNB (Card. Thoracic & Vascular Surgery), PSG Institute of Medical Science & Research and PSG Hospitals, Coimbatore and he started by visiting our entire Campus.
Then the session starts @ conference hall. Dean Prof.Senthil Kumar addressed the gathering. Chief Guest honoured with shawl and memento. Chief guest delivered a good presentation about "Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery" and he requested us to follow some habits regularly to lead a healthy life. And also he shown some videos about the Latest Technologies used for heart attack and heart block. It was the great opportunity for all faculties and students to interact with him.
We celebrated "70th Republic Day" at CMC Campus. Chief Guest Mr. JEGANATH, Sub-Inspector of Police, Chettipalayam Police Station hoisted the National flag . The Chief Guest were honoured with Shawl & Memento and he delivered good Patriotic speech . Finally chief guest distributed sweets to all cadets.

'Jai Hind' 'Jai Bharat'
On behalf of Coimbatore Marine College, Dean. Mr. Senthil Kumar inaugurated the Celebrations. The faculties and students assembled at the ground and prepared Pongal in a new Earthern Pot. Students from different faith and tradition also joined the festivities. They dressed in dhoti and saree that completed the festive mood by greeting the traditional atmosphere.
As part of the celebration, Traditional games such as Uri-Adi, Tug of war , Muscial chair and Dance Performance by cadets were conducted. Finally the pongal and Sweets served for all.
On 13th & 27th April 2019,The Parents Meeting was held at our Coimbatore Marine College. In order to improve the Academic Performance of the students, it was decided that the Parents of the students (B.Sc & B.Tech) those who having two or more than two arrears called for the Parents Meeting. The Academic Performance, Discipline and other students related issues are discussed with the Parents.
On 23/02/2019, about 25 cadets of our College have taken part in Inter college cultural Fest KALPANA 2K19 organized by Sasi Creative School of Architecture. Our Cadets got I prize in Short Flim,Photography & Cinema Poster. II prize in TV channel & Cinema Poster. III Prize in Group Dance. And Our college Got the Overall Championship of KALPANA 2019
On 09.03.2019, We have celebrated our Chairman's 50th Birthday in a grand manner at CMC Campus. A part of this wonderful occasion " The Tree Planting" was inaugurated by the Chairman C/E S.I. Nathan . This occasion was associated with " Nizhal Maiyam". The members of Nizhal Maiyam, Mr. Murugan and his team arranged 25 different varieties of plant saplings which were planted in our CMC Campus today.
Placement Director/ B.Tech HOD C/E . Gopalakrishnan and Capt. Sunil Balagopalan from B.Sc Department attended " ONE DAY NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINAR" @ Hindustan Institute of Technology, in association with DRDO/NRB. They delivered a speech on " MARINE UNDER WATER / OPTICAL / ACOUSTIC COMMUNICATION" for about 120 students.
From 21.03.2019 to 23.03.2019, our cadets accompanied with our sports Incharge Mr. Marimuthu have take part in 5th National Level Inter Maritime Institutions Tournament " AMET TROPHY 2019 " organized by AMET, Department of Physical Education in association with Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai. Our cadets participated in Kabbadi, Football,Cricket, Swimming, Chess, Badminton, Volley Ball and Basket Ball. Also We are very glad to in form that our Football team, volley ball Team and Kabadi Team qualified upto the semifinals
On 15.04.2019, Our Professor.V.L Mangesh, Research and Development Cell incharge, Coimbatore Marine College delivered the presentation on the topic " Behavioural Finance and Capital Allocation" at Coimbatore Management Association. Most of our MBA students had attended the presentation.
On 13th & 14th April, 2019, 23 Cadets from our Coimbatore Marine College accompanied with our Faculty Mr.S.Vivek and our Coach Mr. Prasath participated in various events of "Naughtica 2019" at Chennai Convention Centre.
Technical Paper Presentation - Shipwrecks and Sustainable Shipping at Brinicle Conference conducted by IMU Mumbai Port Campus (Marine Engineering and Research Institute), Mumbai in association with Directorate General of Shipping and Maritime Training Trust Third Prize Cadets Mr. Shubham Bhagat and Ms. Muskaan Chauhan.
We are happy to inform that Coimbatore Marine College, B.Tech Cadet Shubham Bhagat and Cadet Muskaan Chauhan had won Third prize in a Technical Paper Presentation - Shipwrecks and Sustainable Shipping at “Brinicle Conference” conducted by IMU Mumbai Port Campus (Marine Engineering and Research Institute), Mumbai in association with Directorate General of Shipping and Maritime Training Trust, which was conducted on 28th and 29th March 2019.

56th National Maritime Day Celebration @ Cosmopolitan club Chief guest, Commodore Rajiv Choudhry , commanding Officer , INS Agrani, graced the occasion with his presence and took salute at the impressive parade organized in the city by the college Chief Guest released the college magazine “THE HELM” Route march by CMC cadets from club to CSI Matriculation school to generate awareness amongst public about the importance of the National Maritime Day
